Pickled Peppers?

Farmer Peter Piper told us last week that his crop of peppers was probably ruined when the winery next to his farm spilled hundreds of gallons of wine onto his property, due to a faulty valve.
During this weeks cleanup, now that the level of spilled wine has dropped, Piper has discovered that his crop isn’t a total loss. In fact, Piper found that his entire crop of peppers had pickled – right on the vines!
Local restaurant owners have tried the pickled peppers and have bought his entire harvest.
Piper was seen earlier today talking with his neighbour. Rumour has it that they are arranging a ‘spill’ for next year’s crop.
