These are the floor plan of Dad's house - as he remembers it. The bicycle and electric shops faced the train station.
Margaret, this is just so interesting! Thanks for such a neat post; I loved it. What is really cool is when we visited this area in July 2007, and we had a snack of Dutch waffles in a cafe, right in the place where the bike shop would have been; we discovered this later. Pictures are on my blog from that time.
